My son and I took a 20-mile ride on Saturday, November 19th, from Charlton to Southbridge and back. On our way home we encountered a "road closed" sign on Guelphwood Road at the Southbridge/Charlton border. We had come back this way about a month earlier and had no problem getting through, so we did it again. Only this time, the water across the road was much deeper; probably due to beaver activity. We ended up with wet feet, which was unpleasant since it was about 45 degrees F that day. Of course, my son (seen in the video) was fine when we got home; however, my feet were numb from the cold. I soaked them for about 10 minutes in warm water and I was fine. Lesson learned. Next time, we go around!
