Old Guys Going Downhill Fast (#3) Territorial to Curtin. Technical road bike descending. Oregon
bicycles reviews | bicycles videos | bicycles online
This video is the descent from Territorial Hwy. down towards Curtin, Oregon. You climb out of the south end of the Lorane valley to the top of Territorial and then you are treated to a blistering descent that is loaded with some technical corners. 40-50mph sustained speeds require that you know what you are doing and have faith in your equipment. The road is in excellent condition (as of April 9, 2011) and there is very little traffic so you can really let the horses run. This descent will put a grin on your face or a stain on your saddle depending on how skilled you are. ;-) Filmed from a GoPro HD Hero video camera mounted on top of a bike helmet. Resolution setting r3 (1280x720) 16:9 @ 60 fps. Edited and rendered on Magix Movie Edit Pro 17 software.

@WheeliePete Nice. Perhaps i wont panic on my brakes next time i hit a steep hill :)

@karateporkchop Nah, top speed in the low 40's. A good bike with quality wheels shouldn't get speed wobble unless there's a problem. I've been in the high 50's before with no problems.
