WHOAAAAA DUDE I've been LOOKING AND LOOKING for this light! FINALLY found it! And... in my own backyard (I live in Seattle!)
-
how long well it work on a charge? I like the lights so far.
-
Super tight.

I would love to get a pair for my trike but these are mad expensive! They are great though

Wonderful lights, but isn't there a trade-off for getting all that peripheral lighting? Looking at the video, there doesn't appear to be very much beam lighting far off in the distance, like my current Nite Rider light has. I love my current light, because I can see very far in front of me, which is very important when barreling down a steep descent at 45+ mph. Just seeing 5-10 feet ahead is not enough at that speed.

I'm putting these in my cart on Amazon for purchase later on. I had an accident at work, so no biking for 2 weeks or so (fell and hurt my knee). I do understand the complaints about pricing, but I also understand that this is a small company making a QUALITY product. I'm in for a front & rear light. I know I'll get what I pay for.
And for all the $20 light comments, I've done those. There's a reason I'm still searching for a great set of bike lights - the cheap light were bright, but the quality was/is always GARBAGE. Buy 1 set of QUALITY lights and be DONE WITH IT! -
Hello, I was very interested in these lights. As people who are avid cyclists know, it is very easy to drop A LOT of money on quality bike lights. Don't believe me, look at such companies as Dinotte, Magicshine, Lupine and DesignShine. These companies put out some serious lignts at a premium cost.
I have read all of the comments on the Orfos lights posted on Amazon. The people who actually have them, love them. Then there are those who don't have them and choose to complain about the price.
I actually chose not to go with the Orfos because I could not find any information or contact information besides here that would help me with my decision. I ride every morning at 4:00am and it is dark. I also live in a rural area where once you leave town street lights are very far apart. I need a light combination that totally lights up the road in front of me and behind me that can be seen by cars a good distance off.
What I was especially trying to determine about the Orfos is the actual throw, or distance in front of the light that is actually being illuminated. I could not see or find any info on it. Yes it says that the front is 500 lumens but will I be able to see the road out in front of me. Everything that I see shows very little throw and that is concerning to me and why I actually spent MORE money going with another reputable American company for my lights.
The creator of these very nice lights is amazing so I can see him coming up with a next generation of these lights that will address this, but for now I have to pass. -
Wow, I went blind just watching the video :) Love it!

I never thought I'd say this, but SHUT UP AND TAKE MY MONEY.

Looks really promising, hope they're available soon in UK.

Wow, visuals totally rock at 4k & 2160p - but the most important number here is 360° - sending up a "flare" let's get the bike-car ecosystem in visual balance with Orfos 360° ! ! !

Totally stoked! Thumbs up if you've ordered one on kickstarter.
