Pirelli Sportbike & Track Tire Guide http://www.revzilla.com/pirelli-tires?utm_source=youtube.com&utm_medium=description&utm_campaign=Pirelli_Sportbike_And_Track_Tire_Guide The name Pirelli has been synonymous with sport tires for the last century and their current line up of hyper sport tires keep in that tradition. The Diablo Rosso series of tires offer a variety of sport application for the sport bike rider. Offering the highest mileage of the bunch and still features great handling is the Diablo Rosso 2 tires that have a dual compound for long wear in the straights and grip in the corners. The Diablo Rosso Corsa tire is gear more for the rider who is spending more time at the track and needs a higher level of grip in extreme cornering. The softer compound of the Rosso Corsa won't last as long as the Rosso 2, but offer superior grip in this dual compound tire that has 3 equal parts of a harder center and softer shoulders. The last and most aggressive of the bunch is the Diablo SuperCorsa tire which is a single sticky compound for the rider who spends nearly all their time on the track and doesn't make mileage a priority.

190 on rosso 2 I got about 4500k's out of that tire, great tire takes a fair amount of time to warm up but all round great wire and I ride pretty aggressive.

Bridgestone RS 10

i have a supercorsa on my 250cc bike :D is this overkill or not? LOL so far so good, its give me a great grip and I enjoy entering corner with speed. how 'bout your opinion?

Tried Super Corsa Sp, great in dry, dangerous in the wet. Use to have S20 Evo which are pretty good for street and track once warm.
I prefer the profile of the Rosso Corsa as turns in better than the S20 but better in the wet than super Corsa and only meant to be 1 second slower on the track at Brands Hatch, Uk. -
On my 2000 R1,diablo supercorsa SC0 last 200km track riding :)

Is it true the Diablo Rosso 2 have a replica version from China.

How many miles does it take to break in the Rosso II?
-
i did try out rosso 2 for track usage on wet event..and it wasnt that impressive at all,my rear was sliding through when i down shift gear to enter the corners.but when it comes to dry session, the grip is superb and satisfied..manage to lean more angle..

Pirelli corsa - went through 3 sets of them on R1 . Fantastic grip , getting overpriced now, and last 2000 miles. I would buy them again - all that grip ......
Safe riding.... -
Hello DrewZilla! I have a question for you as well (sory for my bad englisch for first).
So i did buy December the new 2015 Rsv4 RR, standard tires are the Supercorsa Sps. I live in germany and at the moment the temperature is between 10-16° and i have a really hard time to get that tires warm. I drive mostly on street twiesties but on the limit and with these tires and temperatures i cant do it or i am pointless afraid not sure. Thinking to swap off to Rosso corsa because all i care is top grip in the edge, dont care about wet grip/highway runs or loots of mileage. Somewhere i read that the supercorsas works from 40° tire temperature, how is that on the rosso corsas? Or what tire would you suggest me?
thanks for the answer -
I'm actually just trying to figure out which of the tires that you guys carry, that would work best for me.. I'm running these on my 08 ninja but now I'm looking to replace the tires on my 07 zzr600. It is the bike that we use when my wife rides with me and when we take trips, but we also get into some very light twisties (with a pillon) in the mountains. The roads are horrible around here and the tires I have now do not inspire much confidence. Any suggestions from anyone? Thanks..

how does the rosso II compare with Michelin PP3?
-
idk about the other two but the rosso corsas are great. Definitely gives you alot of confidence in the sharp turns without the rear tire slipping out. And in highspeed turns the bike literally leans its self and stays there the whole turn. I have made 60 mph turns in exits and they didnt slip at all. They stick to the asphalt like glue.

@revzilla. What would be the appropriate psi for the sp v2 front and rear on the street? Thanks!

diablo corsa gsxr 600 k9 hard hard road miles 1k miles on the iom 1k was motorway (highway ) 2k street 4k total
tire has flat spot and just scrapped the mot now moving on to super corsa no complaints with diablo corsa -
I have the Rosso Corsa on my Striple R. Do mostly commuting, weekends at the twistys.... Got 16.000 KM's on them till the canvas showed up. So if you do touring and commuting ans also like sticky tires with race performance, the Diablo Rosso Corsas are the ones.
