Hi David, is this footage able to used freely in video edits or is there a specific owner that needs to be contacted? Thanks, MM.

Title is misleading.........there was no police chase. He filmed this and then posted it to You Tube, where the police saw it, and then tracked him down and arrested him and impounded the bike. He went to court, and did receive a minor punishment. It was not his first time going to court for reckless driving.

Must have ate his last Doughnut 5 minutes before the nearest shop shut.

Very dumb.... you don't have to go this fast, to get away from the police. Just have to be smart. He would of died, if a car would to change lanes at the right moment of no return. And going that fast, would cut through another car, hurting someone else, or Children. Thumbs Down!!!!!!!!

That guy's lucky to be alive - I'm assuming he still is... -

I totally understand that this rider has skills. At that speed though a car or lorry could check the mirrors are clear, see nothing and begin changing lane. The bike could plough straight into the back of another vehicle because it would just appear out of nowhere and wouldn't be able to stop or change lanes in time. At that kind of impact speed, anyone in the back of a family hatchback wouldn't stand a chance. It's doubtful anyone would survive. It wouldn't be the car drivers fault either. Their mirrors would have been clear when they started to change lane and that biker could have wiped out a whole family.
Ride that fast on a track and you have skills. Do it on the road and you need to be given a good slapping by professionals.
I lost three friends at Nottingham Uni a few years ago because of an idiot biker. They weren't changing lane and they weren't speeding. The biker changed lanes to go round another vehicle and went into the back of their VW Polo at 140mph. They all died.
This is nothing to do with having balls and skills, it's about being so selfish that you want to ride at that speed and don't care who else you kill. We all speed. I do it too, but that biker was just a murderer looking for a victim. -
99% of people talking trash in the comments don't have the skill enough to even attempt this. The other 1% can but dont.

Look at all these pussies crying about what the man is doing. Guess you are all just jealous that you can't do that.

here's a little tidbit of info. this happened a few years ago in canada, he the man who posted the video was found and charged. the bike was in his mothers name as he had previous traffic transgressions and did not qualify for insurance under his ownership (Go figure right? ) , the bike was impounded and eventually auctioned off. after all was said and done he was actually acquitted as it could not be proven it was indeed he whom was riding the bike and committed the traffic offenses, only that it was him who posted the video. I know someone who has ridden with him. and he's actually a poor rider, can only go fast in a straight line and has dumped several bikes in ditches, as cornering is still quite the mystery to him.
