I have the Public D8 Electric Bike (older than the one shown here), and mine came with an accessory port sandwiched between the bike rack and back fender. I repurposed this 2.1mm 12v DC out accessory port to power a Sahara Sailor 5600 Lumens LED Bike Headlight. It works great with the Bionx system because the console controls the light (IE, the light cannot be turned on unless the system is on, and the user enables the light). Total investment was under $50 for this incredibly bright light.
I love my bike, but there are tons of features on this new system that have me drooling. The regenerative brake switch looks a lot better than my magnetic switch, the Disc brakes and thicker tires would have been a plus as well.
The M8 also looks slightly more stable on the provided kickstand than my D8. I struggle to balance mine on the kickstand when I add a Pannier + the Battery. -
Nice Video ! Recently I've been looking for an affordable ebike. But most of them are too costly. I saw the news that the Buffalo eBike of Freway is going to available on the market soon, are you going to review on it Court?

I ordered a Phat Cycles/Bomber single speed fat tire bike and it is shipping from California to here in Jersey. I plan on putting on a mid-drive. I chose a single speed because an electric motor will not work over 20 mph so are gears really just extra weight? A problem I am foreseeing is the battery pack. The frame is curved and the tires are fat. Is there a solution out there for me? Thank you for putting out your informative videos. I like it when you had someone filming you riding the bike from a viewers perspective along with the first person. This gives the viewer a better grasp of proportions.

hey man, I'm looking into a bike with a front wheel drive are there any plusses or minuses to which wheel has the motor installed?
thanks for your input -
Nice bike for cruising.

Seems pretty hipster. Not so practical.

Hey, will you be reviewing the VELECTRIX URBAN UNISEX?

Really like this!

neat bike. not really my style but it's different. No head light but it has a tail light? That's odd to say the least. Also, there would of been plenty of room for that battery on the down tube. Maybe they were going for a less cluttered look, but I find the battery over the rear tire kinda blah. Hey Court, I was wondering if you were ever going to review the Prodeco Rebel? It looks like a cool fat tire bike. I am curious to see how it is.
