Thanks for putting this up Dave! Do you remember February 2006 when you visited NZ and you took my "Yellow Peril" Norton Production Racer for a few laps to familiarize yourself with the circuit? Your loan bike had failed. I was thrilled to have you pilot my machine around the track. The signature remains on the fuel tank! Cheers.

Great video - not seen this before. The sport and the film presentation may seem amateurish now but we have become used to high quality presentation of popular sports. We forget that focus had to be just on taking part in the early 1970s, I guess, little budget existed in most teams for style and media image. Well done!

What a great video brought back so many good memorys I even recognise some of the marshals although I still watch racing on the TV its not the same anymore.

I never knew these films exsisted.
Wonderful stuff that brings to life what
motorcycle racing was.
Peter Williams, what a brillant fellow that
suffered a cruel injury. And of course Percy
Tait. What a sweet moment holding that beautiful
baby sheep. That is his real life, and the motorbikes
were well..... in his words, fun.
Yes "Days". What a touching end.

Thank you so much for uploading this film.
It is so nice to see the famous riders in real action. -
Phil Read was at this years TT selling Tshirts in the paddock.

Percy Tait was a top class rider. I remember years ago he came to IOM for a parade lap then went like a bat out of hell on the so called parade lap lol
