Where can I buy a handlebar tape just like that was used in this video (Tesa Power ® extra ECO REPAIR)?
Thanks for the help. -
To me he's doing it wrong like a lot of these wrapping video's do. Your hands twist to the outside of the bars when in the drops not to the inside like he says. When on the tops your hands twist toward the front wheel. I'm sure pro riders don't ride completely different than ordinary riders ( just faster and longer ). Easy way to remember is to wrap to the outside on both sides.

moody lighting and an editor who's so bored of bar tape they feel the need to pepper the video with irrelevant shots. urgh.
-
Perfect. This i how I do it too. :)

wrapping the bar this way will put pressure against the direction of the wrap, especially at the top and cause the tap to come undone sooner from the top instead of having the pressure in the direction of the wrap so it stays in place. kind of like water flowing down over shingles, not against the grain.

Awesome video.
-
wrapping from the top is the best and no sticky tape. Start at the same place all times
-
That's odd. Every other video tells the viewer to wrap outward away from the stem.
-
best video I have seen so far

Ah man I'm so disappointed he didn't line up the bar bungs. That really shows who pays attention to their bar tape, imo. That and headset top caps.

Watched this before wrapping a new roll of bar tape and it was mightily helpful. Looks very clean compared to my previous attempt!

Yep I know where you're coming from with that ... And, that is a problem but with only certain makes of tape. I use deda it's good quality and never have that problem .... On all 5 bikes.

If you start at the top of the bars and work your way down to the "bar bung" you can finish the job without using lecky tape. Looks neater lasts longer. Also wrap it around the bars once and miss the cables then on the second time around cover the cables. Looks neat and professional. ..... Just like me. ;-)

What bar tape is that? And what's the tape you use instead of electrical tape?
-
That's a lot of bicycles.
