That's a very nice looking trek! I already have 2 road bikes and one cyclocross bike, all three from trek. I'm looking for a Trek MTB now. That grey/orange combo is one of my favorites for paint jobs!

Here's a trick that might work: When trying to hold your brakes tight on the rim to tighten new cable, try using a plastic cable tie around the pads. Snug the cable tie up tight, pull the brake cable and tighten the hold bolt and then simply snip the cable tie.

im thinking of replasing my twist grip shifters and deor breaks calpers and allso the v breaks on my bike can u recomend a good brand to use the ones im using seem very still wen i sqweez to break and are hearing my arms i was thinking of upgradeing to the gearsshiters your using as the twist grips on mine ar so old that it feels someing has gon inside it any adviise will be great

Thank you for this tutorial. I am looking for a way to repair my brakes. When I squeeze the brake it doesn't do its job well. I can't go on knowing not how to replace brakes.
