Finish Line Bikes 661-833-6268 Today Alan brings you a special treat: a hybrid bike that is designed to be able to handle dirt trails and yet stay efficient when riding on pavement. The 2014 Giant Roam 0 comes with an aluminum frame and suspension fork that includes lockout for on the fly fork adjustment. If you are riding on the pavement you may not need front suspension, so you can flip the switch to "locked out" to keep the front end rigid. If you decide to veer off onto a dirt path you can just as easily flick the switch the other direction to eat up some bumps and provide your hands with some extra comfort. This bike comes with hydraulic disc brakes that are easy to use and works extremely well in all weather types. The 27-speed Shimano drivetrain (triple) will ensure that you find the gear you need; and the shifting mechanism is simple: index finger for upshift, thumb for downshift. This bike is comfortable and agile, and it's ready for you to take a test ride. Come to the store and ride one around the block, see how you like it! I've owned my Giant Roam for just about a year now and still love it ,after approx 1300 miles, the only fault that has just cropped up was a bottom Crank Bearing packing up . Those Hydraulic brakes are superb even in the wet and with a range of 30 gears ,even the steepest hill can be negotiated ,and that's coming from a 67 year old chap!! So if you are looking for a seriously great Hybrid Mountain bike, then the Giant Roam XR 2 is the one to buy !!

I am currently looking for a new bike, and I've been comparing the Giant Roam 0 vs the Roam 2. I know the Roam 0 has better components/parts, but being a relatively average rider, will I notice much of a difference overall in the bike to warrant the $300 price difference?
