Through Pennsylvania's Safe Routes to School program, a series of five videos promoting bicycle safety was developed. Video 3, "Riding On the Road," is targeted at middle school students and other riders learning to ride their bicycle on the road. This video addresses the rules of the road and demonstrates riding with traffic, yielding, stopping, turning, avoiding hazards, passing parked cars, and proper lane positioning.
