Avent BX frames were made exact same over ten years ago lol
-
Those are some pretty big tubes on the rear swingarm, considering it doesn't have a rear triangle pivot and has to flex the stays.
-
how much does it weigh?
-
Is it actually strong because honestly I'd be shitting riding that????
-
How much
-
this seems like an amazing thing it will also be great if you break a part just swap out a tube and a lug
-
looks great, but we've been through this before with ye old Raleigh 'technium' carbon bonded to steel frames, and other company's weren't Innocent of this either: from specialized to trek, the long term end result was the same: the bonding gave out, people got hurt, the companys got sued, and the method was discontinued. but who knows! I guess we will have to wait and see!
-
Totally the future! Remind s me of the Raleigh Technium. These are selective laser sintered metal lugs with bonded carbon tubes. Still need a shit hot bike designer to custom fit it for you! The lugs are easily created with parametric programming! Only downside to the technology is... They don't have the VPP patent!

Would this way of printing make bikes more or less expensive?
-
GMBN please please please please help me how do i contact you guys please please 😢
-
What I like about this is that if you happen to crack a carbon tube it must be easily replaceable, and also as the technology progresses change the old ones :))) Having the perfect bike for ever sounds good to me.

Looks sick!

hay guys I am getting a new mountain bike for my birthday what do you think I should get. thxs
-
Too bad they don't make 29er hardtail XC frames
-
3D printed tubes, not a bike. Come back when you print a frame. FYI F1 teams have plasma printers that can print in metal.
-
Is there anyway to turn my dual sus xc bike into a more enduro or trail bike#askgmbn

And a very important observation,do any of you see all those wrinkles in the chainstay carbon tubes? If you watch CyclingMaven, recently he made a video , taking his bike to a Carbon repair specialist. And this dude is badass, and he explained those ribbon or wrinkles are a manufacturing flaw and will cost structural integrity, possibly death. Check it out

looks cool and all but too many points to fail. Monocoque carbon chassis for me,Santa Cruz V10cc with 180mm single crown. I ride it everywhere, friggin Hyper Enduro, only 28 pounds.

And now the question we all want answered, what are your thoughts on Brexit?
