1. The 75 degree STA shouldn't have a marked effect on transitioning between seated and standing peddling positions, you will be able to jump out of the saddle to attack a climb just as easily/ effectively. Having a 75 degree STA (73 degree post sag) just provides you with a better seated peddling position to allow you to attack climbs more comfortably, it wouldn't have any impact on transitioning between seated and standing.

At Philip thanks for the response, I can see what Rocky is trying to do with their "straight up geometry" in trying to put the rider in more of a time trial position I guess I got confuessed when they related it to suspension sag. Now I have a question, how does the 75 degree seat tube angle effect the transition between seated pedaling and the standing pedal position? 
3. you might want to do a little homework coldforgedcowboy before you post comments on seat tube angles, you'll find most companies dont come close to Rocky Mountains' straight up geometry of 75 degrees Trek remedy- 73 degrees Santa cruz nomad- 71.5 degrees Pivot firebird- 71.1 degrees Giant Reign- 73.5 Specialized Enduro- 75 degrees (effective) but sags to 70.5 degrees (actual) scott genius- 73.5 
4. Wow, what a novel concept, correcting the bike geometery for supsension sag under rider weight. Why didn't all the other bike companies think of that? Oh wait they did.
