The Panhandle Mix of Bikes and Pedestrians is Dangerous. My name is David Wills, I am an all-world artivist, living in San Francisco's Haight for forty years. On Thanksgiving day morning in the Panhandle at Clayton and Fell, as I crossed the north-side UN-posted bike and pedestrian pathway, I was hit by a drunk cyclist traveling at 20 MP, on a fixed-wheel bike with no brakes, and no brains. Knocked back, flat on my head, I suffered concussion and still experience dizziness. The cyclist asked me if I was OK and I, in my woozy clobbered state said, "Fine," and off he rode. He was European with a goatee, 24-years-old with dark eyes, 170 lbs, black jeans and light colored top, the bike was a black, fixed-wheel, I later reported the incident to the Police (report #120,964,011), took a $30 cab to UC Med ER where I got a $1000 MRI with a diagnosis of Post Concussive Syndrome and Vicodin for pain. The Panhandle is no now a criminal mix of uncontrolled speeding bicycles with no signage or speed limit, interacting with pedestrians - children, elders, and the infirm out for a stroll. Bicyclists and pedestrians agree we need signage in the Panhandle immediately that reads: "Bikes Yield to Pedestrians" and "Speed Limit 10MPH" Taped and edited by Frederic Grasset
