The Chicago Department of Transportation and the Chicago Transit Authority partnered to create this training video for bus operators and bicyclists on how to safely share the road. With an overall theme of shared responsibility, the program provides guidelines for avoiding crashes at key conflict points such as intersections and service stops. CTA is using the video to train bus operators, and CDOT urges all Chicago cyclists to view the program and practice safe cycling. This project was funded in part with a grant from the Illinois Department of Transportation, Division of Traffic Safety.

assuming most of the ppl who are watching this are in chicago, why does everybody turn right like they are driving a semi? every day every intersection i see the tiniest cars swing way to the left to make a right turn like theyre driving with a 45 foot trailer. so the ppl going straight have to stop and wait for you or swerve into the left turn lane to avoid your dumb ass. i have a crown vic, its 13 feet long and i can turn from the right lane just fine.

06/20/11 3:05 PM But I am not going to get off the road just because of there hate I have a right to be here to and I am going to ride they can be hateful all they want thats them not me. The road was made for everyone not just one person with cars jerry

But I can see the hate in the people here one after another do the samething. So what I do is I get off the road and let them by then I get back on the road.. It's makes no sences being that hateful.

Why I say that 06/20/11 2:59 PM Because I ride a moter scooter I am not in the way of the cars at all but people are So hateful that they don't want to see me rideing on the road at all. Every person is like that one after another. I thank god I'am not.

Hello. Everyone. 06/20/11 2:57 PM I want to shear something with you all out tyhere. I live in N.C. and people here hate biblecycles mopeds motor scooters. They don't shear the road here in N.C.. People are very hateful here.
