Shocking Motorcycle Crash into Bicycles

Rider hits cyclists coming out of a turn on Mulholland Hwy. Cyclists didn't appear to have serious injuries. Note about cyclists and riders co-existing on this famous 2 mile stretch of road. Even though bicycles are up here in increasing numbers, this is the first time a bicycle has been hit by a motorcycle In the four years I've been up here. Motorcycle riders of all skill levels come up here to ride. The rider was not speeding & riding fine until he hit his foot and stood the bike up causing the bike to go wide. Just usually no one is there and the rider falls alone. It is very unfortunate, and a rare case of being in the wrong place at the wrong time. We wish the cyclists a speedy recovery. That was pretty funny, all the places to ride a bicycle and this guy picks the one crawling with under-skilled stupid fartcan crotch rockets crashing on an hourly basis.

It seems avoidable and target fixation, but it also had to do with the sharp curve of the road, he needed to either start closer to the divider or apply more torque to get to it. Instead he did what most newbies do: slowdown/brake

Even though it's great that the other cyclists came to help out, it's ridiculous how one of them (white shoes, blue kit) thinks it's no big deal. He made idiotic comments like - "the nice part is, nothing's bleeding terribly - except for that arm - put it down, put it down" and "just a little road rash," which are infuriating. Did you see the crash? No. So don't belittle the man for the intense pain he is probably feeling, give him some space and let a medical professional evaluate him. The way the guy hit his head, he could have torn the bridging veins in his subarachnoid space and/or sustained a serious concussion.

Seriously, cyclist should not go up there. It is too dangerous. Motorcycles and race cars are everywhere. Also, there are many blind sharp corners. However, cyclist don't even have a piece of protective gear on him/her except for a helmet.

Upon initial contact of the first rider. The first words that came to mine was "Lawsuit", and as the motorcyclist proceeded to run into the second cyclist "Lawsuit"
