Short Riders - Tall Bikes

How I handle a taller bike like the Honda Africa Twin. Both feet flat down? Not necessary! One remark: if I need to push the bike backwards I simply get off to do that!

Excellent Kai, I am 1m 75cm and like the Africa Twin, but prefer to get on the bike when the side stand is down as my right hip hurts. Think of the bike and your leg as a tripod, two wheels and your leg.
As usual a very good and helpful video. Many thanks. -
Excellent tips. I'm about the same height as you are and this video helped me feel a bit more confident on my adv bike :)

Very informative video. I use the same technique as you on my Africa Twin, and I have a leg length of 30 inches. I do have the seat in the lower position. Many people don't understand that you don't have to have both feet flat on the ground. It's all a matter of building rider skills.

Good video. I've an Africa Twin and am 169 cms....don't have an issue and ride like you suggest. It's time in the saddle :)
