You'll die lol

Just a question, but can't you get a power commandere and then tune your bike to lower the limit on how many rpms you can use to aid you with throttle control ? Wouldn't that help for spuersport beginner riders ?

To those who started on a litre bike and you can shout about it, congratulations, the gamble wasn't against you. To those that started on a litre bike and are no longer here to educate others and share your story....RIP.

I'm getting an r1 as a first bike

Wise words to new riders, do not pay much attention to downvoters, maturity is not something bestowed by accident. Even a R6 is a very powerful bike for a beginner. The Mt07's , the cb500 variants etc, are proper choices that will let you learn and grow into a much better rider.

My first bike yamaha r1 😘😍😻
-
i already have the r1 as my first bike im rebuilding it now to get started

I knew the risks before I started... The way I taught myself to drive a stick shift is the way I'm learning to ride my bike... I just bought the shit after watching videos on how to operate it lmfao😂😂 I'm doing fine.. I'll probably stall from lack of gas/throttle before I die from too much lol. I can only speak for me, but it's all in the ball sack.

I can't believe. This man makes a video of a R1 for traffic. Real stupid.

if i ride motocross on a kx250 2 stroke .. i should be able to handle a 600 right? ...
in my own confidence i feel i have great throttle control and i could even ride a liter.. just not sure how sensitive the throttle is in compare -
My first bike was a hayabusa
-
the only main difference between 600cc and 1000cc is with a 600 you need to get it to a certain rpm depending on the bike to get that power to really kick in where as a 1000 is powerful everywhere i started on an r6 i now own an r1 i recomend starting 600cc if you start 1000 take a turn not knowing too much of what youre doing and apply too much throttle youre fucked but that can really be any size engine it all comes down to the rider

Bought my 2004 r1 a year ago. First street bike and being 18 I'm not dead. Raced dirtbikes for 10yrs so some experience transferred over but not a lot. Fucking love it. Now with that said I do love going fast. And by fast I mean +150mph but if the speed kills me one day I was smiling when I went down

I recommend a 1000cc, which is what I started on a Zx10R with near 200hp to the rear wheel, as long as you respect the motorcycle because you will never need to get another bike. There will always be power to grow into. If you are immature with no respect for the danger then you shouldn't buy a motorcycle at all.

shut up and ride bitch

What about a 2008 Honda CBR 1000RR as a first bike? I want that bike so bad or at least the 600RR and the models below that disappoint me. I am not stupid either to do stupid shit lol
