I just got this light and it is bright as fuck way brighter then battery operated bike lights these lights are head Turner's because of how bright these lights are I mean sometimes I'm driving down the road and the oncoming traffic turns their high beams on just because how bright they are or they'll drive by slow just to get a look at how bright they are or to just see what these lights are mounted to or when your waiting to cross the street and the car driving by you goes past and gets hit by the blinding light and they can't believe how bright the bike light is so they turn their head quickly just to see your lights I truly recommend these lights for the price and for the performance if you really one be seen and blind people at the same time and totally be seen during day get these lights

Here's the scoop. To start out, it's a great light. The light output is absolutely amazing. Its like a car headlight! The problem is that inside of this little bugger there is an aluminum plate the LED's are soldered to. This plate gets hot... Really hot. The heat is supposed to transfer from that plate to the black aluminum body and it does. It just doesn't do it enough.
So... There are a couple modifications i made in order to effectively dissipate from the system. The first mod is really simple. Where the hot aluminum plate rests against the body, (it is pushed against a little lip on the inside of the body) I simply put some thermal paste all around the edge. That brings the efficiency of heat transfer up to close to 85%, where without it, the plate can get dangerously hot and greatly reduce the life of the LED's. Now the heat tranfers to the body really well, but the body can and will get too hot to touch. I fixed that with a heatsink.
The way i installed the heatsink was with superglue. First i sanded off all the nasty black stuff they coated the light with (it stinks really bad so you don't wanna breathe in the dust) and put a thin coating of superglue where they would go together, and i lightly and gently set the sink on the top of the body so i could position it before clamping it down good. To be honest, superglue reacts with the moisture in the air to set, so a few good hot breaths on both pieces before you apply the glue should really help the process.
After i did all that, I replaced the plastic mount on the bottom with a Cateye H27 light mount by removing the foam and unscrewing the screw and then screwing the Cateye piece to it. Then a tiny dab of superglue later and i have a real amazing light. I made my own monster battery pack for it and it burns for four hours on high power before the pack shuts off.
So... All that being said, I do recommend this light, but i recommend it even more if you wanna take some time and use some resources to make it better. I will probably have this light for many years and it will last a very long time BECAUSE of the modifications I have made to dissipate all the heat the LED's produce. Without the modifications, well... You get what you pay for. A six month light. -
t6 o U2 led¿?

Thank you very much! I'm ready to roll now 👍

So, it is not 7500 lumens, like sellers on aliexpress said?

Hello! I have this model ordered from China. It worked for 2 minutes and then it is not working anymore. The battery of 8.4Volts is fully charged. The connection is ok. I opened the LED module from the back to have access to the PCB. I found at the IN the 8.4 Volts and then at the OUT it is 0.020 Volts DC. So of course the LEDS are not working, because NO power on them. The wires to the LEDS are soldered OK. Maybe you can help me with a schematic. I will try to repair it.

This is by far the best bike light review I have ever seen.Very good video quality, excellent focus, especially when you showed the dust in the lamps.Very informative...I am out of words.I need a right strictly for road biking, where I do not need a wide and powerful beam - I do not want overexposure, as I cannot see the potholes well, if the light is too strong. From what I see, the low setting will be enough.I beg you to make a test, since I am curious how many hours of light does it offer...

I dont think it puts even 2000 lumens, i checked the power consumption, it was hardly around 10w at 8.4V. not sure how do 3 leds running at around 3W each consuming around 10w produce 2000 lumens, even my single t6 led flash light give out more lumens than this 3 led device.

your light looks like shi. If you are proud of this then you are clearly a noob and have no business posting and wasting my time.

lady at 13:58 is just chillen. maybe went for a night walk. not weird at all.
not like she was out in the middle of nowhere alone. there was a car close by. probably just a parking area that people gather. waiting for friends maybe.
Walking trails in my area are very busy in the PM. around 5-8PM.
