This run was posted the night before on a day spent at Ortega Highway and we still had a very good turn out of riders which goes to show the love of Angeles Crest Highway. The date of the ride was Sunday, February 8, 2015. We met at a gas station to top off like we usually do and then headed out to ACH. There are many riders who love the road (ACH) and the police know this. Most time there is minimal interference with police, but this day they were on a mission to catch anyone weather car or bike. There was even an incident where an overzealous cop car cut off two riders trying to pull them over causing them to loose traction and wipe out rendering both bikes inoperable. We didn't see it in our group however it was a central topic amongst the riders gathered at Newcombs Ranch. All the police interference made the majority of the ride a cruise. Although we didn't get to go as fast as we would have liked, having everyone go slow allowed for some nice group riding footage. Enjoy...
