Suspect Escapes From Cop Car When Officer Leaves

Michael Floyd was arrested in Florida. Arresting officer, Deputy Eric Reyes, thought that it might be too hot for the prisoner to sit in the back of a parked patrol car, so when he parked in the shade and cracked the partition slightly open to let the air conditioning to flow through to the back seat, then left the vehicle to speak with another officer. Floyd escaped from the car. He was caught the next day and is now in jail facing robbery, kidnapping, and escape charges.
