Test Ride Origin8 Pro Lite Bar Ends Commute Bike Blogger
bicycles reviews | bicycles videos | bicycles online
On my bicycle commute into work today I tested the Origin8 Pro Lite Bar Ends and I have to say it is nice to have a second hand position on my bike. The Origin8 Pro Lite Bar Ends are minimalist so they provide just enough room to give my hands and wrists a break, and they stick out just far enough for me to gain the extra edge while climbing hills out of the saddle. One disadvantage of just adding bar ends to flat handlebars rather than installing bullhorns is that you cannot install bar end brake levers on the bar ends. I suppose I could try installing some intermittent/cross levers but I think I'll just stick with the flat brake levers. I like having the flat handlebars on my bike because they are wider than the handlebars on my other bikes and provide a different riding experience. Monday morning and people were out cutting grass after a long rainy week last week. Have a word with your local council about fixing the bumps in the road mate... lol ... How wide are your handlebars? They look real narrow from here ...

Thank you man, I enjoyed it. You said everything I always wanted to say about the road. I got a Trek 7.4 with Disc break, it is awesome.

I have the Profile Design Brief bar ends on my Traverse 1.3 and did a 55 mile ride with it, my hands felt great the whole ride, having those multiple hand positions really makes a huge differance
