How long does it take to stop a bike from 80km/h? You will be surprised how many meters we rack up...

I want to add that you always should use your rear brake in combinatetion with your front brake to add stability when you brake. Push rear brake first to make the bike sit better and then apply your front brake. If you only use the front brake, all weight will be pushed forward wich in an emergency brake isnt very good.

I always use both rear and front brake if i need to make a full stop, and I use only the rear brake if the speed is under 15-20km/h. The rest of the time is use the front brake

Was that bike ABS equipped?
I didn't hear the tell tail signs of impending lock up, so that leads me to believe that you could drop a couple more meters off of that distance. -
I don't feel surprised. I said to myself before I watched "21 metres". The result was "Just over 20 metres". You're not the first to tell me I don't know how long it takes to stop. Are there people who really don't know? I find that hard to credit. There'd be a lot more people sailing through stop signs if people couldn't judge stopping distances reasonably accurately.
