1. Shows off dirty, worn old pads whilst talking about 'new' ones, then proceeds to take clearly new brake pads off the bike labelling them 'old'- just to refit the same new pads in the next shot.

4. I just recieved my purefix bike yesterday, and after done the assembly, took it for a ride, and after two rides, about 20 min each, i got no brakepad, they didnt last, why is that? Im new to fixies, so i decided to run free wheel, but you got to use the brake.
5. nice vid man! The only thing I want to add is before you loosen up the cable anchor bolt you need to make sure that the barrel adjuster is about half way through its threads. Once you tightened the cable anchor bolt back up like in the video you can screw the barrel adjustor all the way back in and you should have a little bit of space between the brake pads and the rim wich is perfect for instant respons at the brake lever.

11. Tip from a roadie: buy shoesets, they comprise of a brake pad and  a brake shoe that way, you will only be replacing the brake pad when worn out and not have to adjust the brake assembly.
12. Tip as well: put anti-seize grease on the bolts that hold the callipers/pads in place.
