Wish it could be like this in Australia, but Australia is just too big, but at 66 I still ride my bike whenever I can.

What is the name of that Park at 07:08 and following?

Bikes rule :) Cheap, fast, healthy, good for the environment. I knew that the Netherlands and Denmark has a great bike culture, but I had no idea about Geneva. Way to go! On a side note, many of the shots from Copenhagen were taken from right round where I live. I kept looking out for a fat guy on a big blue bike :D

The bicycle/pedestrian bridge shown between 14.35 and 14.45 in Rotterdam is a 'combined bridge'. There are separated cyclepaths and sidewalks, but these are part of the Koninginnebrug (Queensbridge, litterally translated....) which is also for motorised traffic. It is a draw bridge crossing the Koningshaven, which is a parallel section of the Nieuwe Maas. It is a 'parking lot' for ships, as well the passage for larger ships that have to pass the drawbridge, as the nearby Willemsbrug can't be opened. That bridge is 'only' 12.4 m (41 ft) above water level.

it is actually fun riding a cycle

loved it

Interesting... in Denmark are more people with helmets than in the Netherlands. And also not only these "grandmother bikes", how we call the dutch bikes, i can also see more modern bikes... Interesting...

@ Austria: Discover Vienna by Bicycle. Vienna offers 1.200 kilometers of bicycle paths, some of them in areas with hardly any traffic. Explore Vienna by bicycle, you are allowed to take it on Vienna's public transportation system. You can travel fast, but still slowly enough to enjoy Vienna's sights on the way. You can even go mountain biking in the Vienna Woods.

i'm crying.....i wish my city and my country was like this, here most of ppl have 0 respect for ciclists on the streets

The competition with the cars has to be in the same field and with the same rules. It's not fair to restrict the cars.

Good video. In Austria however you should have rather visited Graz instead of Vienna. It is Austria's second largest city and has a much better bicycle culture. Also Munich (Germany) is worth a visit in terms of bicycle infrastructure.

I am Dutch and sometimes I had to look two, three times over just to make sure I'm actually looking at Copenhagen rather than Utrecht or Amsterdam. I knew that Denmark and the Netherlands have a lot in common but some of the areas of Copenhagen reminded me of Amsterdam or any Dutch city.
What's up, Danes ? Were we separated at birth ? -
This should in all cities around the world . Great !

I am English, and we seem to be "confused" about where a bicycle should go, and how the law should provide provision for all the road users - pedalled or motorised: we have a lot to learn about this provision from our European neighbours....

I'm Dutch and very used to our excellent cycling infrastructure and seeing people of all ages cycling. When I went to Copenhagen it was just like being back home with all the bikes there. Oddly familiar sight to encounter in a new country.
