Suzuki SV650. Bullet proof, reliable, good looking and they sound AMAZING! Cat beat a V-Twin with a decent can attached.

I started on Kawasaki ninja 636 because I am tall I was not able to drive 250/300

I am thinking of taking the MSF course next year and was just wondering about what bike I should get.
I weigh 236 lbs. I was thinking of the Yamaha v star 250. Will this be a big enough bike? -

my first bike was kawasaki Z750 i totally recommend it!!

What do you think about starting out on a 600? I mean with good throttle control you can pace yourself and still be safe it would seem? I definitely want a FZ 09/FZ 07, KTM duke 690 or something along those lines. But that doesn't really matter, I'm just mentioning throttle control and being responsible...

never rode a bike before, took the MSF course and got a cb300r. Best beginner bike (my opinion). Enough power to learn on for me, very forgiving and a good confidence builder. put 300 miles on it in a week. love every minute I get to ride.

bike 5- Kawasaki Ninja 650 - looks great. I'd want it.

I also STRONGLY recommend finding a good group of experienced riders to ride with! ( But NOT a bunch of "Squids" who will teach you BAD habits, and push you WAY beyond your safe riding levels!!) They can watch you, and 'coach' you on skill improvements...and you can watch THEM to learn and get more familiar with how THEY ride, safety procedures, and even spotting and reacting to road hazards... while you also get more comfortable with riding "in traffic", and will give you "visibility" and a 'safe space' surrounding you...

I'm 6'6 and weigh around 250. Will a 250 really work? I've sat on a few and could've driven with my knees. Any types where that won't be an issue?

What about a suzuki S40 as a first beginner bike?
it's light, it's a single thumper, and it puts out better horse than the rebel. -
mine was a nija 90cc
-
my first bike was a " NSU quickly " 49 cc. haha!

suzuki gs500

I'm 6'3" and right at 250 pounds. Any recommendations on a bike that's not a Ninja? (My insurance company won't cover Ninjas) I'm not even slightly interested in going off road, but will be making some long rides.
