your voice really started to piss me off the amount it was breaking lol. I think there needs to be a device that locks the shifter in the down position, there needs to be some sort of lutch lock and some sort of front brake lock. You also gotta find some super ass chain and chain it to the ground.
-
If you gonna lock your bike with a chain make it tight and dont let it touch the ground that way it willbe alot harder to break or cut your chain
-
you guys DO KNOW that the thieves come on youtube for research, right? so dont talk too much. the internet is an open place.....
-
I just chain it to my apartments front concert pillar with a unbeatable serious chain and a construction lock 🔐 they tried no luck if you make it hard to steal time is what they count on they want go in quick take it quick

A cover, lmao...okay.

This video was great. I planned on storing my bike behind one of my cars for the winter, and chaining it to the car is a fantastic idea!
-
Well GPS tracker saved my bike twice already. Saving me 4800£x2. But always put locks guys, 2 pm stolen from busy road parked less then half mile off police station in front of my work

Love the satriani intro

personal opinion, a public place is good for daytime, i agree. there are cars passing by, pedestrians etc. not that it will stop them all. i've seen videos from london where the pull a battery grinder and cut the chain in the middle of the day with people passing by.
but during the night, when the streets are empty, a dark conceiled place is my personal choice. i have my bike in a dark place where you have to get really close to see it, i have a disc lock with a vibration alarm, and the bike is right bellow my 1st floor bedroom where i sleep with my 9mm right next to me. i hope the alarm will give me a good warning so i can scare the shit out of him at gunpoint from above his head -
If you have a building to park your bike that's a good way to keep your bike too.

1) Two disc locks ....one each on front and back wheels..... 2) Two fork locks........one on front suspension, the other on back sports rim.......3) One big chain and lock on bike and public post. All these locks on top of the handle bar lock provided by the manufacturer.
-
Unfortunately the fork lock means nothing, you slam the handlebars hard enough it pops the lock off. Definitely get a brake lock and a chain.
-
There are a bunch of videos of a bunch of guys just putting bars in the front and back and just lifting the whole bike into a pickup or van. Always chain the bike to a tree or other immovable object, and always have a GPS device on board.

too bad I found this a day late
death penalty for thieves! -
Several good points sir. By following your tips motorcycle owners may just keep their bikes safer longer.
-
Good idea for something to lock your bike to if you park in a public place when at home like this guy is you can fill a bucket with concrete and put n iron loop in the concrete when it sets you've got a big heavy ass weight to tie you bike to, you can make several to make it more effective

self detonation device once its moved more then a mile from you.
-
how about a 30,000 volt neon transformer at 2 amps hidden in bike with wires connected to seat and handlebars exterior very thin wire barely visible once they put their hands on the bike theyll be knocked out looking like a smoking don king, have the bike on a trckle charger for best effect..p.s. have a video camera recording so you can see them do the electric boogaloo in high speed..
-
I always lock the motorbike against something with a chain, making sure to keep the chain suspended and not on the ground. Beside this I agree with your video. Most of time is easier to load the stolen (loose) bike than ride away with it.
-
Rule Number one, Lock it to something solid and make sure the chain can't touch the floor. If your chain is touching the floor, It'll be easier to break with lock cutters. If the bike isn't locked to anything it can simply be lifted.
