This bike has the same top gear as the single speed but with an additional hill climbing gear. It's good for flat to slightly hilly terrain but if you're a strong rider you could do ok on moderate hills as well. We recommend the 3 speed if you have a lot of hills and the 6 speed Brompton if you have tons of hills.
