Toronto cyclists compete with vehicles on dedicated bike lanes
bicycles reviews | bicycles videos | bicycles online
Vehicles turn into the bike lanes on a daily basis, putting cyclists in danger. Lanes are separated by curb and clearly marked yet drivers are still confused about what lane they should be in.

Stop a Douchebag: Canada edition.

Humanity has reached a new level of retardation...

All people of toronto are mentally ill people and they are bad drivers all of the GTA, so cyclists don't let these assholes bother you and that i am driver and i respect cyclists on the road and i treat them with respect on the road and i even get honked by unstable drivers for being nice to cyclists. I support cyclists.

cyclist can file a city/government law suit towards the Canada but every driver that they come across that tries to run them over in the bike lane because they to can be charged use of private bike lane.

WTF I can't say anything else just WTF

So the Porsche driver was in a big enough hurry to hop on the bike lane but had plenty of time to butt heads

Wrong design. Drivers make a mistake. Same thing happens at my place on a brand new cycle path. And we are supposed to be cycling country number 1.
-
start something like 'stop a douchebag' (search for them on youtube), with stickers and all, that wil teach them!!
-
That last car is funny. Some drivers really hate to back up.
-
The Canadian drivers in this video are the ones that come here to AZ every summer.....
-
where is "stop a douchebag" Canada when you need them??? haha
-
Well done for making that tosser back up. What a prick.

I work near Queen's Park and often see motorists having a tendency to go into the bike lane. They eventually figured it out after some hesitation. It is definitely a bad design and the City of Toronto should fix it.

The bicycle lane infrastructure policy in this city is seriously tainted by the "car supremacy" fallacy, or those in charge are simply unaware of what's going on in other parts of the world, such as Europe. Anyway, kudos for perseverance. Why isn't it possible to submit such videos to Toronto Police and why can't they charge based on them? If that's not possible, the city should put a pole on top of it. But the whole street is weird. If you're coming out of U of T on a bike onto Wellesley and want to go E you have to cross toward the bike path on your left, only to go back onto the right a few meters farther. The design is poorly done.

Typical Toronto bike righteousness. What do think was more reasonable: you stubbornly insisting that the car back up a couple hundred feet around a tight curve feet into traffic, or you going around the car and submitting this video to the city. Of course they have stupidly stated that the bad design is acceptable, but that has nothing to do with your monolithic morality.

what a stupid fucking bike path , no wonder motorists are confused. PUT SOME FUCKING YELLOW POSTS DOWN THE MIDDLE YOU STUPID FUCKIS> GOd damn city hall IS USELESSSSSS

Stop a Douchebag (StopXam) Canada coming soon!
-
There used to be a bollard there. The city was notified in May that it was damaged but they didn't replace it.

You'd think some upright poles far enough apart for bikes to pass unhindered but too close for cars would stop this. Also, the guy in the Porsche at the end of the video, that's an SUV with more than enough ground clearance to ride over that teeny curb....and if for some reason he did manage to damage his ride, call it a dummy tax and be done with it.
