Where I'm from, bicyclist DO NOT follow street signs of any kind. In theory, this SEEMS useful.
-
At 0:55 the loop is also triggered by cyclists who turn right before the crossing.

Hmmm what about a place like Vancouver where drivers get a green arrow and stare at it so it is about 5 seconds before they clue in and enter the intersection

Riding a bike is fun and good exercise.........walking, bicycles and mass transit will all be part of making cities livable.
Ride to school.........ride to work.........ride for fun...........
Bike to work day should be everyday..... employers needs to provide places to park and lock bicycles and encourage employees to ride a bicycle to work. Children should be riding a bike to school instead of being dropped off by their parents. Cities need to do more to provide safe walking and biking trails and paths that connect homes, schools and businesses. Speak up and ask for more bicycle paths in your community. Obesity is a growing problem around the world leading to an increase in heart disease, cancer and high blood pressure. Walking and biking can help improve health. -

I've experienced those traffic lights in Amsterdam with a digital count down timer. I wish they had the same thing here in England, so intuitive and logical I have no idea why it's not used here.
-
In norway, you always or 90% of the time get a green light if a bus is coming. So follow that bus
-
This will never work in the US, most of the population are fat and lazy for bikes.

"Traffic signals: we love and we hate them". Is it OK that I don't have any particular feelings towards traffic signals on either side of the spectrum?
-
here in Chicago they time them so that they are all red when you get to them
