unique bike mirror

I also recommend my video: bike umbrella presentation I think that conventional bicycle mirrors have essential original sin. Namely, they imitate car mirrors or motorcycle mirrors. But the difference is enormous. The car body is immovable relative to the driver. The handlebar of the motorcycle is also almost immovable compared to that of a bicycle. This is due to the fact that the motorcycle goes much much faster than a bicycle and steering movements are almost imperceptible. In addition motorcyclist sitting motionless in contrast to the cyclist who is pedaling and his body is swaying relative to bicycle. Quite different is the case of the bicycle. Bicycle rearview mirror should be stabilized relative to the head of the rider and not to the frame of the bicycle or the handlebar. That is the case of the helmet mount mirror or that fastened to glasses. But its disadvantages are: small picture, vibrations and generally cumbersome to use. Similar drawbacks has the mirror fastened to the glasses ( except for the small picture ). My mirror is free from these disadvantages but it has all its advantages. I, as experienced cyclist, was using very many conventional bicycle mirrors. However, none of them fulfilled its task. At best, the view in the mirror was obscured by my own arm / sleeve, or by my leg / trousers. Finally I decided to construct the appropriate mirror by myself. I intended to make the best bike mirror and not only for cyclists but to make it as universal rearview mirror. Did I succeed? The rating belongs to the viewers and users. I myself think so. I ride ALWAYS with this mirror and I can not imagine cycling without it. I treat the putting on this mirror on my neck as naturally as putting on the shoes before going out. But putting on my shoes is much more complicated. The video just shows this "bike" invention in use. But the mirror is absolutely universal and can equally well be used by people riding on rollers, segways recumbent bicycles and others. I was not able to show an accurate view while cycling. I do not have such a super-micro-camera, which can be precisely located on the left eye. But I showed the actual view in the form of photomontage. I hope you can see that the unique mirror is incomparably better than any conventional bicycle mirror. Actually in every respect. The mirror works surprisingly well in practice. I myself am surprised. It has a simple construction. And was several times improved. As a result, the mirror is reliable and very cheap. In the Polish language there is such a term: "you have to have eyes around of the head." Well, sometimes for your own safety that's what you need. Using the unique bike mirror brings us closer to a state where the above metaphor becomes a reality. P.S. Of course, for left-hand traffic - the proper mirror is for the right side of the head.

I must clarify some misunderstanding. One of the bikers wrote that he could not ride and look to the back at the same time. Of course, you do not have to look back all the time. This is exactly like the rearview mirror in the car. You are peeking only when you need or deem necessary. Besides, you see everything in front of you normally. As you can see the mirror is placed in front and to the side. Absolutely not obscure the view to the front. See when Paulina is cycling through the park, and I'm filming her from behind. The fact that you see all the time on video the image in the mirror only means that the CAMERA is directed at the mirror and NOT THE EYES of a cyclist! I'm a little surprised that such things need to explain.
Using the terminology, which used RAF fighter pilots during the Second World War - you have the mirror in front of you on the "10 o'clock" direction. Exactly just as the side view mirror in the car ( in the right side traffic ). And even a little better, because the mirror is higher and you have a view from your natural height, ie. the height of your eyes.
