Utility Bike offers the essentials of what a utilitarian bicycle should be

Personally, I'd say a hub gear would be better, and with an enclosed chain Dutch style. The carrier would be better mounted on lugs near the headstock, like a Royal Mail bicycle. That way any load bears through the main frame and not down onto the wheel, thus making it much easier to ride with a load on. I like the idea of keeping a low saddle height and the stepthru frame. Good job!

....and yet another great reason for using a Utility bike !

The inability to remain seated when coming to a stop is more than just an inconvenience, it also exposes the saddle to the elements when it's raining... and as most all season cyclists can confirm it can subject the rider to a wet butt. Most modern bikes are not very practicality oriented.

I had the chance to test drive this bike for more than 20 days and it is stable , safe and a pleasure to ride .
