Description of the 720º Cycle of operation of the proposed V-Twin Engine. The idea consist in using a "90º V-Twin" engine for a compounded operation, with one of the cylinders (Low Pressure Cylinders) receiving the exhaust gases from the other cylinder (High Pressure Cylinders) through a common central manifold. With this design, when a HP cylinder exhaust opens its corresponding LP cylinder is at 90º from TDC, maximizing efficiency at collecting the energy of the high pressure wave generated at the beginning of the exhaust stroke and reducing the pressure and temperature of the exhaust gases. The idea would be to use existing V engines to produce low cost-high efficiency versions of their existing engines with low development and investment costs.(http://www.youtube.com/upload).
