V-twins vs Inline 4's
bicycles reviews | bicycles videos | bicycles online
After receiving a comment on one of my videos calling me a pussy for having a V-Twin, I thought I would make this video about the subject! Personally I think it's all about preference, Twins and inline 4's have different characteristics...... It's all down to choice.... I'm not saying one is better than the other. =) I realise I called the car an inline 4 rather than a 4 cylinder! I had inline 4's on the mind! i must have missed it but did you mention which aprilia you were on? is it a tuano? i thought those were V4 engines

Just a better street bike (comuter).... more reliable motor and yea put them GPR deeptone's on that beast and u can easily blend in with Hell's Angels somewhere down the road....like a ninja in the cover of darkness 👍😂

APRILIA ALL THE WAY!!!! 1of the greatest V tween engines in the world...15 street titles and 16 European titles for a reason!!!!

Whats the song from the Intro ?
-
the only reason im getting a v-twin 650 (sv 650s) is because my license wont let me on a gsxr650 until i get a full one D':

Great post, love the sound of V-twins and especially Aprilia bikes. Agree with your comments re. low end torque and the sound you could sell on a CD.

I did my A2 about a week ago and REALLY fancied a v-twin, a Monster 600 or an SV650 to be exact.
I ended up buying a GSX600F, a 600cc inline 4.
And I'll tell you now, I don't regret it.
Such smooth power delivery, sounds brilliant, very easy to "use" and lots of power.
You can feel the vibration once you hit the high revs, as to be expected. -
like the intro music by the way! Angry angry song great to ride fast to!

really enjoyed thus post..next engind for me will , hopefulyy, be one in the new sv650..I like both the 4s and the twins as each one hase its own charms for sure.

Don't know where I fit in here but anyway I done my lessons on a er650 and fucking hated it. hated the power delivery hated the sound of it hated the way it rode . now I have a inline 4 honda hornet it's so much smoother and in my opinion sounds sooooo much better 😊

Fuck your number plates are large over there

Folks who get all religious about inline 4s or V twins are fools. Both are superb motorcycles, they're just different. I currenty ride a SV650 and a R6 as I'm lucky enough to be able to own 2 bikes.

My vtr has litrally no engine stool

I am riding a 2006 Suzuki SV650s and it is a lot better for pulling than my old 07 zx6R okay it aint got the top end of the ZX6 but it'll sure beat it for acceleration out of a corner. Cracking little V-Twin.....With the ZX6 you always felt like you had to ring it's neck to get the performance where as the little V-Twin has it on tap from 3000 RPM right up to the limiter....And once it's over 6k it doesn't feel that bad and the sound is awesome!

I remember telling you I was going to buy an Aprillia RSV4. Ended up getting a GSXR1000.
Why?
Because I'm too tall for the RSV4 to sit comfortably :( Couldn't even fit on the Tuono comfortably.
Would I like to own the RSV4? Yup.
I love V-twins and V4s (well.. just the RSV4) - But financially & physically can't own one. Haha. (Y) If, maybe in a few years, they make them more height friendly for me, I'll go buy one. But I am one of those who love the V sound but had to go to an IL4 for comfort since I wanted a comfortable bike to commute on without sacrificing speed (to go to the Firestorm). -
what horrible number plates.

has this asshole never ridden a 175 bhp 1200cc vmax I will happily tie him to mine

I'm not really understanding everybody on here talking about how much slower and wimpier twins are. Throw a leg over a Ducati 1198 or even 899. these are animals, and actually take much more skill to get around a track than most inline 4's. Whoever this guy is that called you a puss obviously has air between his ears.
-
that's the internet for you. can't post anything without someone trying their hardest to push your buttons.

i think the straight 4/Vtwin argument is a waste of breath.. its totally down to the rider.. I've only ever owned straight 4's but i've always wanted a TL1000R with Yoshi cans.. the sounds if awesome! :)
