So sick of idiots saying the 675 is "cheating".
Supersports regs permit 600cc 4cyl, 675cc 3cyl, and 750cc 2cyl in that class. If you forget the cc's for a second, all these engines will weigh about the same, output similar power, have about the same "breathing" with the valve surface area. The more cylinders you have, the higher you can rev, the higher the compression ratio's because the cylinders are smaller, and the more valve surface area you have across your total capacity.
These engine sizes are equivalent and fair, and these rules have existed for a very long time, before Triumph bought out their 675. There were 675 triples a long time ago. -

Erm... 675cc Daytona isn't a 600cc bike, the 'three cylinder' argument is the same crap Ducati used to practically cheat in WSB for years.

yeah the 675 is a serious bike,i have a older 636 race bike and my mate just bought a 675 whipped of the road shit slapped on the race fairings and tyres and off he went and on the tight stuff no one could exit a corner like him he fucking loves it,and my 636 has lots done to suspension etc and i could barley hold onto him(no probs power wise)but for exits its mental mid corner he could pin it where i was spinning up,675 for my racing i think!!!
