these videos are pretty boring, i completely understand their purpose, but i was ready for some hands on videos on how to ACTUALLY RESTORE an old bike to working order not tips on how to rub a rag over rust to make the bike more expensive to sell.

Interesting point of view, I guess he´s right .Some times it may happen that you want a brand new look and that only can be reach with a repaint isnt it? Personally I prfer a bike showing singns of age, but not really deteriorated, but its only my point of view.No doubt a not restored bike in really good shape showing only light rusting and paint spots will be more valuable for selling than a "perfect" restores one
