Hey Kids, in this video, 4-year-old ToyRap Ben learns how to ride a bike; his first 2-wheeler bicycle! He’s been using a Strider balance bike until now. I bought him a used Specialized Hotrock bike with 20” wheels from Craigslist. I added a handbrake, a new tire, and tuned up the headset and bottom bracket. It’s ready to go! Ride with a balance bike for a while. We started Ben on the balance bike when he was 2 years old. 2. Before transitioning to pedals, know how to slow down and stop the bike. For example, learning how to use the hand brake (if your balance bike has one), dragging a foot and sliding forward off the seat to stand. 3.
