West Coast Choppers Bicycle

Found a Jesse James West Coast Choppers 44Mag Bicycle through the local classifieds. Made the drive to pick it up and hope to transform it into a new custom chopper bicycle. Right now I'm thinking of doing a Sons of Anarchy theme, but who knows. Next step will be tear down then polishing all the steel pieces. Then sanding the frame for repainting. Going to have to tear the wheels apart to polish spoke and repaint rims as well as clean the tires. This is going to be one helluva project, but really looking forward to it.

what size bearings does this bike have?

I picked up a West Coast Chopper Bike at an Estate Sale it is in brand new shape. The only problem I can see is that it doesn't have a chain guard. Do they come with a chain guard. Up on the handle bars there are what looks like six bullets in a cylinder. Should I let my grandson ride it everyday or is this a collectors item? I paid $10.00 for it and an brand new 18 speed still in the box.

Ya the bike you got has a much better look than the Schwinn. As soon as I can get a link on a distributor for the QBX bike I'm getting one. I have a specialized Hardrock and a Sunbicycles "easy trike" trike...LOL...not the old ppl bikes this thing has some class...LOL. With all that said I need something new one in my collection I haven't purchase a new bike about 4yrs

Yeah, this little bike has crazy potential. he Schwinn Stingray is nice but I like the two fat tires on this one. That QBX bike you're referring to is sick too.

That looks sick. I was looking for a nice cruiser/chopper like that..Schwinn had one but it was a little small for me....What I would really love is a QBX quadbike but they have no distributors in canada yet. Your bike looks sick can't wait to see the progress.
