what chain ring did you get when you changed to a 34 tooth? i want to do the same thing, i found one on amazon but i don't know for sure if it fits my bike... is there a specific size i need to look for? (i also have the vilano shadow) -
On top of your initial purchase how much more have you spent on upgrading the Vilano..
I ask because if I buy a bike 700 - 900 bucks i won`t need to bother about upgrades..Rgds. -

There are few things I would add to your already very good video. After 100 miles or so its good to check if any bolts or screws have come loose. Another thing I have experience with is to actually put grease on all the threads on bolts and screws. The seat stem going into the seat tube can be good to give some grease also. Especially the bolts holding the brakes, around the seat, those bolts holding the chainrings. You will be happy for having greased those bolts later on.!!! ;)
