Wheelbuilding : Lacing a bicycle wheel
bicycles reviews | bicycles videos | bicycles online
Lacing a bicycle wheel, done in one take with no editing to show you that it's not a complicated or time consuming exercise. This is NOT a "howto" on wheelbuilding, it's just to show you what typically happens when a wheelbuilder laces a wheel. My other lacing video is better but this one seems more popular (look in my video list for the other one). -- Roger http://www.wheelpro.co.uk/wheelbuilding/book.php

This is NOT helpful.

Not a diy tool. It's a nipple driver. It pushes out the tool so all the nipples are on the spokes all the same. Makes it heck of a lot easier to true up the wheel.

This is clearly not a tutorial but it's interesting to see that DIY tool he's using
-
Great video showing how quick it can be done.
I love how he uses his glove to rest the rim on. He'll use gloves later in the building process to stress the spokes. -
rapido...un profesional el capo! ja ja (:

Impressive!

I'm guessing he's done this once or a hundred times before. I really would like to know the hole counts and reason for the two different length spokes etc.

Guys, google the man. If you google him you will see that he has a book about wheelbuilding and truing. He gives you all the info in his book about how you can built your own tools and stuff. This is just a teaser. Anyway I bought it and can highly recommend it.
