Every one asks the same question but there are no clear cut answers. So, I try to provide you the honest and clear answer to the most common question in the mind of the Indian performance bikers. There are brands like Yamaha, Honda, Suzuki, and Kawasaki and they all have 600 cc bikes. But we don't get these bikes in India. Why? Is import illegal? Are there any regulation banning inline 4 engines in 600 cc class. The answer to all this is NO. The law says penalty for CBU import below 800cc. There is nothing against CKD however. Then why don't we get it? Lets find out!

AND F.Y.I THERE IS NO FINE OR BAN ON IMPORT OF 600 CC MOTORCYCLES.MY PAL JUST IMPORTED A SUZUKI GSXR 600 3 MONTHS AGO FROM THE U.S.A 0 MILES DONE.FROM THE SHOWROOM.HE PAID DUTY AND GOT HIS BIKE CLEARED THERE WAS NO PENALTY OR FINE AS ALL THE PAPER WORK WAS DONE PROPERLY.IF ONE HAS THE RIGHT DOCUMENTATION ONE CAN GET ANY BIKE IMPORTED.

Absolutely Right.. We are not Getting it Cause our market is weaker than foreign market like in usa or other freaking cointries where probably each house has a 600 or more cc bikes.. But in our country they cant sell that many number of bikes that will give them profit over their investment in building manufacturing plant in India.. Absolutely Right Info..

I have a budget for around 18 lakhs max to get a bike, I want it to be full with tech, Should have good looks, SHOULD NOT heat up in traffic, Not a naked, Not a cruiser, A supersport, Don't want the Triumph Daytona 675R due to reasons, Give me the best 3 of your choices since you're experienced into biking, If I get an answer from you, I'll sub for sure
