Why you SHOULD start on a liter bike!! (1000cc motorcycle)
bicycles reviews | bicycles videos | bicycles online
Take advice on liter bikes from someone who actually rides one!! Ive ridden a 250cc 600cc 1000cc and 1300cc UNLIKE 99% of other Motovloggers i actually know what its like. This video is for people who have already taken their training course LOL! Everyone is different. Some dont have the capacity to start big some do.But the ones that dont like to bring the ones that can down! Thats when you here things like "no good riders start big" or "Anyone can ride in a straight line" "ill kill you in the corners with my 250" "buy a small bike and learn to ride" These people have no balls and are pathetic. Not because they started small but because they hate on others that didnt have to or choose to. In their minds you should be a master before you touch a liter bike so they make fun of those learning.Ignore them. Follow me on Instagram: http://instagram.com/nightrider_motovlogs

My worry isnt so much on being mature/framed/responsible/humble enough to handle such a bike as a first ride. I can safely say I've proven to myself i can be all of those. Nah my concern would simply be on insurance. How do get a 1000+cc insured as a first time rider, regardless of age? Im way past 30yo, and in the EU country I live in there is just no way any company would insure you. And if you find that ONE company ready to take a chance, well it would be third party (certainly NOT comprehensive), no theft. For a yearly price that would probably be a third of the bike's price.
I guess living where you live has perks :) -
Just to note, there is very little room for error on a 1000cc bike, very little. My 300cc is the most forgiving bike ever. True you can start on any bike, but please for your sake have some riding experience or at least have a motorcycle endorsement. I see too many people with 1000cc that have no business riding them due to lack of skill.

yooooooo are you from Michigan ..looks like youre in ypsi haha

give me a 600 on track dayzzzzz, keep that 1000, people want to argue or debate on 30 to 40 extra mph, lol or just have a little more torque ? 1000 can be useless depends on traffic conditions, like what so good about the power if you cant use it.or what so great about power if you cant use it ? but to each their own is what I say. I think its funny my 600 rr smokes 1000 daily and then that 1000 rider really feels inadequate cause he or she cant keep up in the first place cause they never learned any skills in riding at any level in the first place. So can you learn to ride on a 1000, yep you can. Will it take you longer, most likely. will you live through it I hope so ! But today, I still hunt 1000 down till this day, cause it boils down to one thing. its not the bike but always the rider ! God Bless all riders on all bikes !

I think it depends on the person and what they want to use their bike for. I'm very happy on my 300cc and would love to go on a track day, but part of me always thinks about how amazing it'd be to pin the throttle in a 1000cc

Riders who start on big bikes rarely acquire any real skill

My current bike is a S1000RR. I'd go so far to say that this bike is so refined that someone that's come off the CMSP or MSF course could ride this bike in Rain Mode and enjoy life. Sure it's still 180hp but it's so smooth and the brakes are so far beyond what a newb will need it's probably the safest bike there is.
It all comes down to the rider. Treat the bike you're on with respect and ride within your limits and you'll enjoy the ride. If you're a dick on a 125cc+ scooter you'll end up dead. -
If you are a responsible adult with basic riding experience you can start on a Hayabusa, or any bike you like.

i think your motorcycle has some technical issues, listen to 1:20s

lol bruh! big bear on a small bike. I feel you!

I'm not 16 yet but as soon as I am I'm gonna get a license and probably start on a ninja 600r. i feel like a liter bike is a little big for me cuz i have no experience and I'm kinda a moron. a 1000 is bigger than i would ever need and a 250 or 300 is too slow.

I have ridden before but it's been 10 years and I've never ridden a sport bike but I've always wanted one. I'm 31 now and have the money and maturity to ride one. Plan on purchasing the 2016 zx10r krt edition soon. Plus, all the new liter bikes come with power modes so the first few weeks I'm gonna be riding in c power mode which basically cuts it down to a 600cc

The main reason you start a 250 or 500. They are cheap as hell to buy and resell for the same price. And if you drop them due to mistakes they are cheap to fix. They also teach you proper throttle control. Why spend 5k on something to learn on when you can make mistakes on something 1500 or less. Everyone makes mistakes newbies make them more. Go for the cheaper route. And you dont actually lose money on 250's or 500's they resale for what you buy them at.

Lots of dudes are starting on a 1700cc Harley. Your first car can be a Corvette Z06. It's pretty much the same thing starting out on a liter bike.

Hello Night Rider( Have my subscribe man I like your channel) Speaking about the topic do you think I could handle 1 liter bike? I'm 27 years old( mature enough I guess and with self control) and my height is 197 and 105 kilos...so I'm rivaling the weight of the bike :P ( I don't know how would i look on a 250 but my bet is ridiculous and I also cannot stand those tiny tires of small bikes) Give me your opinion please
P.S. Also my plan is to invest around 2k euros in protection gear and only after that buy a bike.Sounds well ? -
