Nice day from germany! -
been riding all my life... put on a bike by myself before i could walk, i just turned 18 yesterday and im ready to hit the road! im actually looking to pick up maybe an f4i or a 03-05 cbr600rr to deck out for stunts... i have experience on my dad's 08 cbr1000rr but its just to heavy for me to be slinging around the way im used to... i will however be trying to do the mfs course on it cause ive gotten adjusted to the bike and love the feel

If u can handle a 600cc bike to start then do it don't ask just do it. only u know what u can handle. But for the scaredy cats or super reckless people out there lol start on a scooter or a 250 n give yourself some discipline..... lol ORRRRRR just do whatever you want. Some parents say don't have sex before marriage or before you get to a legal age but so many teens and minors bust it wide open whenever they feel like it so do whatever you want. some say the safer thing to do is to start small & work your way up but there's nothing safe about bikes period so do whatever u want. lol
this guy is entitled to his own opinion...yall dont have to curse him out n you watched the videos lol just hit that like or dislike button n move on lol -
4:39 totally agree about cbr 250 vs ninja 250. more durable i've been down twice and both me and bike have survived with minor injuries.

I think it depends. I started on a 999cc BMW S1000rr. Did just fine. Probably depends on the personn

Great Advise Man.

i watched your vid and you have some good points but you also have to think about the people who grew up riding mopeds dirtbikes and four wheelers lol im 17 and my first street legal motorcycle is a 2005 gsxr 750 p.s its my profile pic, but you said most people should start on a 250 lol now i understand if you dont care about what bike you have but most people do. for reference i do agree that most people should not start higher than 600cc but a 250 makes some people feel like they have a bitch bike lol you said the price could range from 2k to 2.5k and i agree thats a good price for a used 600 depending on who you come in contact with. now personally im glad i started with my 750 ive never dropped it i ride with helmet jacket and full attire when i ride and i glad i didnt start with anything smaller. but for people who think they can just get a 600cc or higher with no riding experience at all , YOU ARE ALL CRAZY , but for people who have some experience even atleast a moped and can keep it balanced i feel you could learn to shift on an actual motorcycle and would be perfectly fine on a 600cc or higher if you had the right mind meaning no speeding no burnouts no wheelies lol just the joy of riding and you will be perfectly fine to me a good starter bike would be a like a cbr 500 or something and you say dont care about your looks and dont care what other people think well its really hard to do that if your anything like me lol the bullies are just attracted my way so i always set myself apart i got my bike and its literally just me and my bike i feel comfortable enough to know i have a nice bike and no one can say different but if someone gets a 250 and drives to school everyday like i do i can tell you right now after your first day at school with the bike you will never want to bring it back now back to what i was saying though a 500cc bike is big enough but its also small enough to be stylish nice and comfortable. example at school the first day with bike: hey nice bike Arnold what is it. Arnold: thx , its a cbr 500. bullies:hahaha you have a baby bike. Arnold: actually my bike is 500cc it is very close to a 600cc and if im not mistaken you get a ride to school everyday from your mom. did you see what just happened he shit the bullies down and still has a way to get to school safe and stylish at the same time , now if the bullies come back after a couple weeks and fuck up your bike in the school parking lot all you hae to do is tell the principal to review the school video footage and ind out who did it after that you make sure you have full coverage insurance on your bike and they either fix or replace it and everything works out cause in the end you stll have your bike .... p.s my name is zae subscribe if you would like im buying a gopro for myself soon and i will upload weekly motovlogs for any and all that would like to watch .

My first bike was a Suzuki Vstrom 650. Had an accident back in may that totalled the bike. looking to get a Supersport as my next bike. What are some good starting Supersport options for someone like me?

Problem where I live is that the drivers licence is split up in 3 separate parts. A1, light bikes 125cc/11kW. A2, 35kW/0,2kW per kg mass of the bike. Lastly A - unlimited. Which means that if I'd like to start with a 250cc bike I'd get an A2 license. When I'm done with this bike I'd later need to pay hundreds of dollars AGAIN, to get the A license. And if I'd want to avoid these extra costs I'd need to go for a A license immediately - and in this case I need to take the test on an atleast 600cc bike. So in a way, we're kinda stuck to go right for 600cc. However, our driving tests and preparations are really good - you're not going to be let out in traffic if you're not considered a safe rider, before you even get to go out in traffic in the test you have to do breaking tests, security check, slow speed track etc.

I started on a Yamaha FZ-07.
5'1" lady. Perfect bike if you ask me. I'd have been bored with a 300 in 3 months. -

Also you shouldn't give a damn about what other people think of you when riding, it's all about the fun not the appearance and to be honest, this is based on what I've seen, most people who don't know much about motorcycles can't really tell the difference between a 250 and a 600, A bike is a bike to them. Another thing is, ask any motorcycle racer what bike is the most fun to take out on the track and they are not going to say a 1000cc, they will say a 250 0r a 300 because it's light and they can use all of it's power.

I bought my CBR250R on Craig's List for $2000. Honda's are the most reliable bikes next to BMW and mine has been fantastic. I just bought a CBR500R off of Craig's List because it is next incremental step and my dad felt that I was ready. My friend is getting a bike soon and I want him to buy my 250 but all he says is "I don't want a 250, I'm getting a 600". I just tell him okay, see you at your funeral.

but for real, I started on a 600 and as long as you don't whack the throttle and stay within the limits you can start on an H2R or R1M and be fine. Just be smart and ride within your capabilities

start on a 1000

Doesn't apply to all people anymore than red hair does.

I got 600cc as first bike and I love it

I went from a cbr125 to a gsxr srad 750 1 day after passing my test. And that was 2 years ago and I am still here. The bike will only go as fast as you make it go. But I started of moto x at 12 years old.
