Working On My Bicycle, Fixie Fixing.
bicycles reviews | bicycles videos | bicycles online
Another hobby of mine that I seldom make videos on is bicycles. I love bikes. I have many bikes but my fixed gear has been my primary ride for about four years.

where do you get your parts from
-
Their actually pursuit bullhorns
-
More power to you. Just don't try and say you stop faster. I like to skid too, I'm just not going to depend on it.
-
15 year olds really don't know much about being a man. Feel free to continue skid stopping, I just hope you can stop in time to not be hit by a car. Like I said in the video, a few of my friends and people I knew online have been hit by only relying on skid stopping. I'd prefer to keep a brake just in case I need to emergency stop and not pretend to be cool by skidding. Pro-tip, a man is the person who stays alive to provide for his family. Not the paraplegic who skid stopped into a car.

ok.... when you want to replace the bars on your fixie. you can either go to the store like this guy did and waste a bunch of money and time...... or you can just learn how to stop a fixie like a man.
-
Ah I feel ya. I've had risers with a little back sweep on all my bikes so far. So I suppose its just something i'm used to.
-
I checked them out online. It seems there is a big difference between just a B259 and an "EAI" B259. The EAI has welded end caps and are entirely made of a high quality metal. I am assume that is where the price difference comes from. Pretty neat looking. I don't really like swept back risers though.
-
B259 are a little different then what you have. Google them. Nice bars but dunno if they are worth the money.
-
I paid $35.00 before shipping. Google tracksupermarket. The prices in Japan are very odd indeed. Are you talking about the B201aa bars going for $95.00??
-
How much are those bars? I ride nitto risers here in Japan and they are still expensive. I have a set of Nitto EAI B259 and they were about $95 on converted.
-
Pretty sure you call those pursuit bullhorns. NOT Mustache bars...
-
The first bars are Nitto RB-021 pursuit bars. I swapped them to Nitto B201aa riser for riding comfort only. I mainly ride my fixie when my wife wants to ride or I'm just screwing around local. I ride my road bike when I want to go fast or for longer distances. Check out tracksupermarket com for the parts. I buy mainly Japanese parts, not that I dislike Italien (far from it), I just like the NJS racing stuff better and easier to get!
-
nice, but why did you change the bar? So far i could see that your bullhorn bars are from cinelli or the tape is from cinelli. one of the best things you can get in Singelspeed or Fixies or bikes in general are italian products such as, Colnago, de rosa, Pinarello, Moser and so on. And Cinelli. liek Cinelli mash one of the leading frames in singelspeed! now you got this japanese stem? was it not possible to buy one in US? must have cost million of dollars just the shipping!
-
woo u sound a lot like Zach galifianakis! xD
-
threadless i think.....not quite sure but cant i get the 25.4mm and put the spacers you can get and fill in the space, the bike is a Windsor The Hour i got off of bike direct, also thanks for the video i fixed my brakes on it.
-
My guess is that yes, you would have to change your stem. Do you have a threaded or threadless stem?
-
dude i got a random bike question, on my single speed i got 26.0mm handle bars would i have to change the stem for 25.4mm bars?
-
Oh no not at all. I ride my roadie 4 to 5 times a week to work. It is pretty hunched over, doesn't bother me a bit. However when riding for fun, with an upright position I can keep an eye on the people I ride with to make sure they are safe. Video coming soon to show off how cool my bike commute it.
-
When you say upright position is it because of your back?
-
Wasn't using the ends much. The riser give a more upright position too. I have the road bike if I want to go faster.
