You should have gotten the Zero SR with the 13 kWh battery, twice the range of this one. As for highway range I think someone made a custom fairing for the SR but I'm thinking Zero Motorcycles will come out with a fairing retrofit eventually because it has been brought up many times already.

Saw another video where apparently Zero mentioned with a fairing highway range/efficiency improves by 15%

Didn't expect you to keep it long since it's the cheapest zero with the smallest batteries but hey at least it's makes up for that being a dualsport.

do you need a license to drive the zero fxs electric?

My street model ZERO SR has a range of ~130 miles in the twisty mountains and ~80 miles going on the highway. Its the aerodynamic drag of highway speeds that uses up range.

What you really need is a fast charger that will charge the a Zero SR in ~1 hour.

I feel like this bike would be a great beginner bike for someone who needs it for strictly commuting since it allows you to turn down the torque and top speed. The bike allows you to adjust it to your skills.
