Love all your reviews you just get it.
Side note, I wish I had different bikes to match my different shoes 😀 -
Thanks for the vid!!! Very complete!!!
2 questions:
1- And these two VS Mavic Ultimate ?!
2- What about these MEZCAL tires? Thinking about testing them at the end of my ikon`s life. -
Were can you buy the S-works shoes online ??
And by the way awesome review! -
Awesome review! Fantastic overview.

It does not matter that the sole on the S-Works is no replaceable, because they are NOT going to last enough to wear down the sole. I have a pair of S-Works MTB 2011 and the sole began to come off in about 2 years, and at the time I was not riding a lot, maybe 5 to 7 hours a week.
The knobs on my Sworks are like 3% worn down, after some years of use, but it doesn't matter because the whole sole is coming off. On top of that after about a year I had to warranty the BOA system on one of the shoes.
My oldest pair of Sidis MTB is like FIFTEEN!!! years old and I am still using them.
So, in my opinion, at least in terms of durability, there is no way the SWorks can be better than ANY mid range and up Sidi -
Sidi keep your heel better for 100%.

J broke my carbon Specialized shoes during small crush.
-
I've had a specialized with the hard plastic tread wore holes in the shoe never thought about replace the tread.

With the studies that have been done between flat pedals to clipless, I find it hard to justify a shoe that does not flex to the degree of these carbon soled race shoes. That being said, I love my SIDI's, but will probably never buy a carbon soled shoe. In fact, I'll be using flat pedals more often now because I want my calf muscles to actually work harder so when I get on my clipless shoes, I'll be even that much better.

Has anyone got experience with Northwave MTB shoes? are they any good? I'm looking into getting a pair of Scorpius 2 Plus or Blaze Plus
-
SIDI all the way... hehe
-
did anyone else notice, red bike red shoes, black bike black shoes! thats classy
-
Bike Radar videos are great and I'd watch so many more of them if they didn't have the constant awful 80s musac rock n' roll backing droning away offending my ears. Sort it out please.

Sidi are famous for motor cycle shoes, now they are making bike shoes and I have 2 pairs of it, good quality and tough...luv it.
-
BUT How're the shoes while sitting in the saddle?
-
No matter what it is, always go with the red ones. Red colour is always "faster" ;)
-
please do a shoe review for people on a budget, I don't have a lot of money and I am really trying to find a shoe within $75-125

I bought the previous generation of these s-works xc, it was an absolute steal at -€100 from the original price. And i mainly bought these over other brands, because i knew they would fit me as i use other Specialized shoes to.
-
you just told us all the reasons the sidis are amazing and brilliant shoes!! and then chose the specialized?! still, each to their own!! just get a small rubber patch for the sole if its that bad! :)

Really would have loved to see the Shimano XC90 compared to these shoes. That thing is a beast.
