Is a mtb full face helmet the same as a motocross full face helmet.?
-
I just got one for 10$ at good will
-
eddyjawed - yes, over the last few years since the Remedy was first introduced, full face bicycle helmets have become lighter and lighter. So now, in 2014, the Remedy seems heavy compared to others. Giro has discontinued the Remedy and it's now called the Giro Cipher, and it's lost some weight. But, the Remedy is still a workhorse and will serve you well for a long time!
-
I brought one of these and they are heavy!
-
The Giro Remedy helmet is specifically designed for bicycle use and meets the CPSC safety standard for bicycle use. It does NOT meet the DOT standard for motorized bike use and is not recommended for dirt bikes/motocross. The current price is listed on the product page on our site. Thanks!
