Already a massive success in Europe balance bikes are set to become a worldwide trend. Tests in Germany and other countries clearly show the benefits of not using balancing aids such as training wheels and stabilisers on children’s bikes. The use of balancing aids such as these have in fact been shown to slow the development of motor skills such as balance. Our new YVelo gives your child the opportunity to learn to balance and progress to bicycle cycling quicker! Y Velo also has the most appealing design of all the balance bikes out there. We remember it as a golden time of good, healthy, outdoor fun. Without a handset in sight. So, with our love of toys like go-karts that put smiles on kiddies’ faces and wind in their hair, we all ended up in the outdoor toys industry. We imported toys and it was all going rather well. But, deep down, we had this crazy desire to develop our own. We wanted to control our own destiny and launch products our way. In 2009, we were reborn with even more wind in our hair and a new dream of working with a design company to sell their new ‘balance’ bikes around the world. We started co-designing some nice products with them and feeding back on other product ideas. At last, we had our little fingers firmly wrapped around the handlebars of the industry and, in 2011, we launched in over 40 countries and spanning the Globe from the US to Korea. In 2012, we came out with a shiny new brand and went global. Pull up a chair, put the kettle on and see how we get on. I bought the double rear wheel one for my grandson, last year. He was 1 month shy of a year old(short for his age), & he was riding it easily within a few weeks. Now, my granddaughter (same age he was), & him fight over his bike.
This year, I ordered a different brand, & it is too big for her. I'm returning it, & ordering the red air balance bike for her. They love these bikes, as they are too small for 12 in pedal bikes. These bikes are very solid. Tho' I wish they had bearing in the handle bar neck, for easier turning. -
overpriced. not needed. i learned it the hard way and i'm not even that old.

Is it just me or this the most dangerous thing I've ever seen for children. I mean if they go over the top with speed they won't be able to stop and if they try putting their legs down, I can only imagine them getting their legs scraped up and the bike possibly flipping over... Maybe i'm just overreacting... but fuck this thing dude. just get a regular trike.

They can learn it with the pedals...

They're walking

This is horrible. Kids should learn to balance from falling off and getting hurt. They learn to pick themselves up. Plus we can't keep our kids "safe" all the time
