Yoshimura builds the R-77 with a special trapezoidal shape that enhances looks and offers a ton of volume inside for sound-dampening muffler packing. As part of Yosh’s street lineup, this motorcycle exhaust meets CARB and EPA emission requirements. We installed the pipe on a 2012 Honda NC700X and shaved almost three pounds – a 31% decrease. We also tested the sound levels throughout the rpm range and found between two and four decibel increases. The exhaust note is noticeably deeper, and the few extra dB allow the bike to be heard in traffic without being obnoxious by any standard.
