I'm with you on this one; sadly we live in a world where people generally care a lot less about your stuff than their own. I've learned that the hard way, too often. Nobody ever offered me a ride of their bike and I would't expect it, wouldn't even ask. Some dealerships don't even offer test rides, and they have hundreds, so why should you feel bad about it? Someone takes your bike out for a thrashing, brings it back empty with a few mm less rubber or worse, and then wanders off in the sunset and leaves you to take care of it? No thanks.

Dude, don't let someone guild-trip you. What if he drops it? What if he just rides the fuck off? What if he gets hurt on it? That's allll out of your pocket man. Maybe this guy is an upstanding gentleman and cool as hell in real life, but don't let a stranger from youtube ride your bike any more than you would let a date from craigslist borrow your atm card. I mean fron dude's perspective it never hurts to ask, but if someone get's pushy about it, I would be highly suspect. And it doesn't even matter if he is being shady or being up-front with you, it's your bike, you get to say no. Go down to any local Motorcycle Club in the area and ask anyone standing around what they'd do to someone that insisted on riding their bike. I bet you their eyes would pop out of their head and they'd tell you what they'd would do if someone even SAT on their bike. Yeah you aren't riding a $30K Harley, wouldn't we all if we could afford it... but there is absolutely no shame in the bike you can afford being the world to you, even if some other yahoo isn't impressed by it. (And your bike is nicer than mine, your dad's bike too.) Ummmm, subscriber rant, sorry lol

Dude you wasn't being a dick. You're just protective of your things. I wouldn't let someone ride or use my stuff either because I don't want the chance of it getting messed up or changed in anyway.

So my bike isn't registered but that doesn't stop me from going thru my neighborhood, we can legit do a like 5 min ride together from 1 side to another if ya want. It'd prob be boring tho
